High Quality, Self Catering, Holiday Cottage at Bude in North Cornwall
The Beach Haven is located in Gurney Close which is a quiet, residential cul-de-sac at the north end of the town, known as either Flexbury and/or Crooklets.
It is half a mile to Crooklets Beach, initially down a small, gentle hill and then largely level to the beach so it its easily walkable even for young children. It normally takes ten minutes or less to walk it.
Bude town centre is also easily accessed and this too, is a short of walk of about 12 minutes to the top of town where there is a Sainsburys.
There are two very popular cafes at Crooklets Beach and two pubs, The Crooklets Inn and Tommy Jack’s 200 metres closer. A mile inland (and rather up hill for walkers) is the excellent Preston Gate Inn. Of course once in town, there is a wide selection of shops and amenities. Bude is rather proud of the fact that there are so many independent shops so it doesn’t appear to be the same as many other highstreets in the country.
