The Beach Haven is conveniently located in a quiet cul-de-sac ten minutes walk from the Bude town centre and also ten minutes walk to the nearest beach, Crooklets.
Sainsburys supermarket is at our end of town so this too, is a ten minute walk! Our end of town is known as Flexbury and it has a Chinese take-away and a trendy restaurant / bar called Hebasca. These are just a five minute walk away from the Beach Haven.
Heading towards the beach, you will find a family restaurant / bar, Tommy Jack’s and next door to that is a more conventional pub, the Crooklets Inn.
Last but not least, a mile in the opposite direction is a little village called Poughill with a lovely traditional village pub, the Preston Gate. We highly recommend this pub and it is also dog-friendly. The lovely Preston Gate Inn is one mile away in the village of Poughill
